Evenings, 6pm to 9pm

July 2nd to Sept 3rd. There will be a total of 8 lessons. Each lesson is 3 hours long.

2 weeks that classes will not happen, as Amy will be on vacation: July 16th and August 13th.

Who’s it for? Beginners who want to try pottery for the first time! You don’t need any experience to take this class.

This class will take people through the very first steps of making pottery in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

There will be max 5 people in this class, with a wheel available for each person at all times. Nice, small class sizes will ensure that you get the instructions you need. Learn from an experienced potter who has been making pottery for over 10 years.

What you get:

  • 8 “sessions” (3 hours on Tuesday evenings)

  • The use of the wheels and studio space (work tables).

  • A shelf/cubby to store clay.

  • Kiln space to fire your 10 pounds of clay.

  • Use of studio glazes

  • 10 pounds of Cone 6 stoneware clay (Tucker’s Mid Smooth Stone)

Additional purchase options:

  • Extra clay (available at the studio to purchase), and extra kiln space.
